Congratulations have flooded in as Hull FC put the city bang in
the middle of the sporting map - again.
For the second time in a year the city is preparing to head to
Wembley, as Hull FC clinched a hard-fought battle against Wakefield
Wildcats in Doncaster in the semi-final of the Challenge Cup.
For the fans it is a dream come true after the Black and Whites
beat the Wildcats, 32-24, after a gruelling 80 minutes at
Doncaster's Keepmoat stadium.
Since then, praise for the team has poured in from across the
city.
Hull FC legend Johnny Whiteley was watching the game with former
president of Hull FC, David Kirkwood.
