Richard Agar has the chance to follow in the footsteps of father
Allan after guiding Hull FC into the Challenge Cup final.
In only his 10th game in charge of FC, Richard Agar masterminded
a 32-24 victory over Wakefield to send the Black and Whites to
Wembley.
It continues a family tradition after Mr Agar senior won the
competition as both a player and a coach in the 1980s.
Allan Agar first lifted the trophy as a player with Hull KR in
1980 - the legendary derby final against Hull FC.
He then went on to further success as coach of Featherstone
Rovers in 1983.
