THE X-FILES: I WANT TO BELIEVE (15) **
Director: Chris Carter Running time: 104 minutes
WHO hasn't walked into a movie late and tried desperately to
catch up with the plot, and work out what's on the screen? For those
not washed in the blood, that's what it's like to watch the new X-
Files film. More than 10 years ago the X-Files television series was
a pop culture phenomenon, thanks to a canny mix of uncanny elements
that resonate like a tuning fork struck against the fearful and
suspicious skull of the pre-millennium American. So what brings us
back? Maybe there are loose ends dangling, or maybe everyone noticed
the huge amount of money The Simpsons and Sex And The City movies
generated.
