MOVIES know their way around a lot of things: spaceships, war,
young women running for their lives in high heels. The lives of
single people, however, are a different story. Thirty years ago,
when Diane Keaton went Looking For Mr Goodbar, the search ended in
gore. Edward Woodward goes to a Scottish island to investigate a
missing person and the very fact he's a celibate single is the
reason he gets barbecued in The Wicker Man.
More recently, there's been Sex And The City, where arch-
narcissist Carrie Bradshaw has her corny belief in kismet and
corporation-whipped materialism passed off as a sophisticated ...

......and "30 Rock" and in the new movie "Baby Mama" to be the new queens of comedy. One...together, and they make a movie like "Baby Mama" an enjoyable time at the show, even...likeable and the movie is funny enough that "Baby Mama" turns out to guy-friendly, too. Guys...
