Chinese mountain biker Ren ready for Olympic debut on home soil
BEIJING, July 26 (Xinhua) -- Chinese cycling hopeful Ren
Chengyuan has recovered from a jaw injury and is ready for her
Olympic debut in Beijing.
Ren told Xinhua on Saturday that she is in good form and full of
confidence to take at least a medal of any color on home soil.
The 22-year old mountain biker sustained injury in Germany when
she competed in the 2008 World Cup in April.
"The speed was too fast when I came down from the mountain. I
could not control the bike well and fall to the ground. My jaw then
bled and I received five stitches after the race," said Ren.
