The weekly sheep chase -- a time when children and camp counselors dodge piles of woolly mammals' dung, fallen tree limbs and one another in a sprint to capture just one fluffy farm animal in their grazing field -- has become a tradition at the summer programs Jo-El Wadsworth runs at Scottie's Place.

Staff at the 300-acre camp encourage that sort of frolicking.
