It wasn't supposed to go down this way.
When the Milwaukee Brewers traded a future big-league starting
outfielder for CC Sabathia, it was to make a pretty good starting
rotation into one of the best in the National League.
It was also to put a hand in the face of the Chicago Cubs, the
northern neighbor's way of saying, "I'm tired of hearing how
superior and big-market you are."
Brewers manager Ned Yost, who usually admits to getting excited
about only iPhones and NASCAR, was flat out giddy when he was able
to write in "CC Sabathia" and "Ben Sheets" for the first two dates
of this four-game home series against the Cubs. Even with Chicago
