GREENWICH -- Kyle Gallo has been in this situation plenty of
times before, in the lead at the Connecticut Open golf tournament.
Gallo has won the event three times and been in contention at
several others. He's back in the lead again this year after two
rounds, posting a 6-under-par 136 total at Round Hill Club to lead
by one over Jeff Hedden heading into today's final round in the 74th
edition of the tournament.
"My goal was to shoot under par today. I brought it back with a 2-
under on the front nine (his final nine of the day)," Gallo said.
With birdies at 3, 5, and 7 and two good pars on 8 and 9, his
