Article: Ferrell and Reilly buddy up again in so-so 'Step Brothers'?

"Step Brothers" is full of the kind of bawdy, often nonsensical humor that has made Will Ferrell such a star. And while it should please his fans, it is ultimately uneven and pales in comparison to his best work.

Ferrell stars as Brennan, a 40-year-old man in a state of arrested development. He still lives with his mother (Mary Steenburgen), and spends his days watching television and eating cereal. Ferrell's "Talladega Nights" co-star John C. Reilly plays Dale, who is enjoying a similarly indolent existence. When Dale's father (Richard Jenkins) meets and marries Brennan's mother, however, it disrupts the status quo.
