Kenya Airways suspends flights to West Africa over strike

NAIROBI, July 30 (Xinhua) -- Kenya's national carrier, Kenya Airways, said Wednesday it has temporarily suspended flights to some of its West African destinations following a strike by ASECNA, the trade union of air traffic controllers in Francophone Africa.

The airline CEO Titus Naikuni said in a statement issued in Nairobi that the destinations affected are Comoros and Mayotte, Abidjan, Bamako and Dakar.
