When most people go to Las Vegas, it's to see the bright city
lights, take their chances on the slots or take a stroll down the
aisle to say "I do." But a couple of Boonville High School students
had something else on their minds when they visited Sin City.
Boonville High School Debate Team members Lynnzee Matthews and
Matt Miller competed June 15-20 at the National Forensic League's
Desert Lights National tournament in Las Vegas. The pair qualified
for Nationals
by placing in the top two at district.
The duo debated in the public forum competition, placing in the
top 100 out of nearly 250 schools from across the nation. Public
