WASHINGTON, Aug. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. House of
Representatives Thursday night unanimously approved a resolution, H.
Res. 1288, supporting the designation of September as National
Campus Safety Awareness Month (NCSAM) by Security On Campus, Inc.
(SOC), a national non-profit organization based in King of Prussia,
Pennsylvania. The resolution, sponsored by Congressman Joe Sestak
(PA-7) and a bi-partisan coalition of 50 co-sponsors, also
recognizes SOC's partnership with colleges and universities across
the country to offer campus safety programming each September as a
