Rod Millman, who trained the nine-year-old at Cullompton, and owner Terry Cooper called time on his career after he finished last of eight runners in the Royal Bank of Scotland Goodwood Cup on Thursday.

The chestnut first hit the headlines when he won the 2005 Northumberland Plate, Ebor and Cesarewitch, which saw him voted Racehorse of the Year by the Racing Post.
