People from all over Yorkshire came together yesterday to
celebrate the county's heritage.
In Hull and towns and villages across the East Riding Yorkshire
Day events were held.
The events reminded people of "all things Yorkshire" and
celebrated the county's proud history and heritage.
The major Yorkshire Day celebration took place in Market Hill in
Hedon and was organised by East Riding Council.
It included a procession through the town, live music from
Frankie Dean and the Mississippi Dixielanders Showband, Yorkshire-
themed stalls and children's activities.
Yorkshire declarations of integrity were also read out during the
day.
