Sorting out where you are going to obtain foreign currency may
not be the most entertaining part of planning your holiday - but it
should mean you have more to spend when you get there.
Leaving this chore until you get to the airport is likely to be
an expensive mistake, as our table demonstrates. Making the most of
holiday cash is more important than ever this year, with research
from Abbey showing that families are cutting their travel budgets in
half.
"The one thing that Britons definitely don't need is for that
budget to be further eroded by foreign exchange charges overseas,"
