Article: Getting a glimpse of yesteryear

Recently, I came across some old outdoor magazines, and even though the 1959 Christmas issue of Field and Stream, and the May 1970 F&S are a bit musty and dusty, I find myself reading and rereading them more than the outdoor magazines that come to my house on a regular basis.

In a recent survey by Southwick Associates (Huntersurvey.com and Anglersurvey.com), it showed that despite the Internet age we live in, outdoorsmen are still interested in getting their monthly fix of news and features through the print media, and for the most part in magazine form.
