Chinese Taipei badminton hopefuls dream big at Beijing Olympics

BEIJING, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- Chien Yu Chin and Cheng Wen Hsing, an unseeded pair of women's doubles from Chinese Taipei, are dreaming of marching into semi-finals at the Beijing Olympics.

Chien and Cheng, currently ranked No. 5, said here Monday that the unseeded position will do good to their preparations as they could feel more at ease when rivalling Chinese pairs.

The draw was not tough for the pair by pitting them against an unknown pair from South Africa in the first round, and then the No. 3 seeds Wei Yili and Zhang Yawen from China in the quarterfinal.
