Gloucester are ready to honour Andy Hazell's 11 years of service with a benefit year - but the England flanker says that does not mean he is planning to slow down.

Openside Hazell made his first-team debut at Gloucester in 1997 and has appeared in the cherry and white on 180 occasions, scoring 19 tries.

But, with three years remaining on his contract, the 30-year-old says that as far as he is concerned, a benefit year does not equal a plan to wind down his career.
