Poppy Appeal bosses are appealing for volunteers to help make the
next 12 months a record year for fundraising.
The fundraising drive, organised by The Royal British Legion, is
looking to target all areas of Plymouth.
In a bid to strengthen the appeal, organisers have divided the
city into 14 areas in order to allow volunteers to focus more
effectively.
Organisers say they desperately need volunteers for city centre
east, the Guildhall area, the Barbican, Milehouse and Plymouth
Albion's rugby ground at Brickfields.
Last year, people in Plymouth donated around pounds76,000 to the
appeal but this year organisers want to eclipse that amount.
