Article: Rescue centre in foster care plea

Dog-lovers are being sought by an Ipplepen-based rescue centre.

Animals in Distress has appealed for kind-hearted canine devotees to give their dogs some 'short-term' TLC.

Christine Paradine, manager of the rescue centre which cares for and re-homes unwanted and mistreated pets, said: "We need to find short-term care for some of our dogs at the rescue centre.

"They can be young or old dogs getting too stressed or scared in kennels.

"Also, some dogs just need a home to retire to.

"We have dogs with minor medical or behavioural issues or some that simply need a well-deserved break.

"We need kind, caring people who are prepared to take on dogs that need temporary foster care or respite.
