Article: Pitchfork facelift under way ; Long-delayed work could finish Tuesday

Renovations at the Pitchfork Records building on North Main Street are under way at last.

"I'm absolutely delighted construction's finally taking place," said Pitchfork Records owner Michael Cohen.

Both Main Street Concord and the city have been trying to work with building owner Evangelos Lillios for several years to improve the building's facade. One of Concord's most conspicuous downtown buildings is marred by broken bricks and worn paneling. It has frequently been described as an eyesore.
