WOOSTER -- Students who want to resume an interrupted educational
career have a committed supporter in their corner.
Valerie Gibson, replacing icon Mary Headings as coordinator of
Adult Basic and Literacy Education, has taken the helm at Gault
Family Learning Center.
"I don't say I'm replacing her," Gibson said. "I say I'm the new
(coordinator) because Mary Headings retired."
"She was so remarkable. Mary built this program and grew this
program. She did a fabulous job," Gibson said.
Gibson, who also has served as Wooster Christian School
administrator and worked in the assessment department of the Wayne
County Schools Career Center, started her new job at the ...
