Article: Gibson takes the lead for adult education at Gault Family Learning Center

WOOSTER -- Students who want to resume an interrupted educational career have a committed supporter in their corner.

Valerie Gibson, replacing icon Mary Headings as coordinator of Adult Basic and Literacy Education, has taken the helm at Gault Family Learning Center.

"I don't say I'm replacing her," Gibson said. "I say I'm the new (coordinator) because Mary Headings retired."

"She was so remarkable. Mary built this program and grew this program. She did a fabulous job," Gibson said.
