West Virginia Public Television will premier a weekly feature
magazine show Sept. 10.
"West Virginia Journal," a half-hour show spotlighting people,
places and events around the state, will be shown at 8:30 p.m.
Thursdays and will be repeated at 6:30 p.m. Saturdays.
"My expectation for the program is to help West Virginians to have
an extremely positive image of their state," said Bill Acker, general
manager of West Virginia Public Television,
The show will be hosted by Beth Vorhees, who also hosts "The
Legislature Today." On-air reporters will include Don Grashel, Will
James, Mary Lucille DeBerry, Suzanne Griffith, Tom Miller, Dan
Heyman, Cecelia Mason and Mark Ferrell.
