Longtime Colorado Springs resident and financial planner Mike
Cecere says that there are two stories about debt in this country.
There's the negative story about soaring credit card debt, about
$900 billion in card balances, and about one-in-ten cardholders who
carry a balance of more than $25,000 on their cards.
And then there's the positive story of Americans who are facing
reality and trying to do better.
Cecere's advice to clients is straightforward. The best way to
manage your finances is to track your spending and make plans to
reduce or eliminate your debt.
