The plays should serve as a welcome reminder of the post-war theatrical renaissance while also providing comedy and drama.

The Private Ear and The Public Eye are being shown as a double bill. Written in 1962, both are early works from acclaimed playwright Peter Shaffer, now best known for penning Mozart drama Amadeus and the controversial Equus, which was revived recently with Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe on the London stage.
