A teenager is hoping to take part in the 2012 Paralympics -
thanks to the generosity of a children's mobility charity .
Now his mother and colleagues as well as customers from Mecca
Bingo Exeter are set to walk 12 miles - almost half a marathon -
from Exmouth to Exeter on Sunday, August 31, to raise more money to
say 'thank you' to the Whizz-Kidz charity.
Wendy Hourd recently began working at Mecca's Exeter branch and
said she was delighted to get involved with fundraising - as she had
personal experience of disability.
