Article: Monaghan regains his regatta crown

Pete monaghan from Torquay's Torbay AC nipped across to Paignton and helped himself to the winner's trophy at the Paignton Regatta Mile, the main event in the 2008 regatta athletics meeting.

Monaghan, a previous winner, had not defended his crown last year at the meeting, organised by Paignton-based South Devon AC, but returned for this year's race determined to regain the silverware.
