For 40 years, Woody Allen has been making movies. Some are among
the best ever made, bringing him 21 Oscar nominations, three wins
for himself and six wins for his actors.
"Annie Hall" is on the American Film Institute's list of the top
100 films of all time, and he has more films on AFI's list of the
top 100 comedies than anyone else.
Unfortunately, the Wood-Man also has made more than his share of
clunkers: more of the latter the later in his career you drift.
His newest, "Vicky Cristina Barcelona," is one of those.
Yet, as always with Allen, you can say his failures are more
interesting than most directors' successes. Anyone who watches (or
