Local truss-maker purchased
Smokey Inc., a Centerville-based maker of floor and ceiling
trusses, has been acquired by a Sharonville company.
Nisbet Brower executives in an Aug. 18 news release said the deal
benefits both companies by allowing them to provide more products to
their customers.
Smokey, a distributor of Boise engineered flooring systems, will
continue to operate under its current name, executives said.
Smokey was founded in 1957. Jerry Idle owned the company for the
last 17 years, the release states.
