PLAYER OF THE GAME
Houston shortstop Geoff Blum snapped a 2-2 tie with two down in
the sixth by hammering a 1-2 fastball over the wall in right-center
for a three-run homer off Ben Sheets. The score never changed again.
TURNING POINT
The Brewers collected three hits and a walk in the fourth inning
but didn't score a run. Mike Cameron was thrown out at the plate by
Hunter Pence by several feet trying to score from second with one
down on Ray Durham's single to shallow right. After a walk to J.J.
Hardy, Gabe Kapler flied out to center to leave the bases loaded for
his second consecutive at-bat.
