Angola denies rumors over travel ban during electoral campaigns
LUANDA, Aug. 20 (Xinhua) -- The Angolan government here on
Wednesday denied the rumors about the Angola police having banned
the departure of Angolan citizens from the country due to the
September 5 parliamentary elections.
At a news briefing in the capital city Luanda, Angola's Home
Affairs Minister Roberto Leal Monteiro considered the rumors as
groundless information and appealed to citizens to ignore such
rumors.
