MILLERSBURG -- Last year's inaugural Holmes County Farm Tour
brought guests from as far away as Oklahoma City, Singapore and
Holland. More than 200 people attended.
This year, event organizers hope to maintain the guests from
other lands, while also increasing attendance from within the
county.
Holmes County Farm Bureau board member Tim Brumme, who is
coordinating the tour with member Denny Snell, said people are no
longer connected to agriculture as they once were and the tour is a
way of introducing them to how it works and from where food
originates.
Brumme said he hopes the tour will give participants "a face with
where their food comes from."
