Moonfest
It was reported by the NME on Tuesday, that police have banned
Pete Doherty and Babyshambles from performing at the Moonfest
Festival, set to take place between Friday, August 29 and Sunday,
August 31 in Wiltshire.
The report said: "Doherty's band were due to play at the bash on
August 29, but a police investigation into Babyshambles' stage
manner led them to draw the conclusion that their performance would
be likely to incite violence."
As a result of this decision, organisers of Moonfest issued this
statement yesterday: "On Monday, August 18 we appeared before
Chippenham magistrate's court where the police successfully
