Article: Everybody in the pool at luau

One-hundred eighty people started their weekend early at the fourth annual Family Hawaiian Luau Party at the Anthony Mu oz Community Center in Ontario on Aug. 14.

On that day the center provided free crafts, dinner, dancing, entertainment and swimming for all who attended.

Children made necklaces out of beads and flowers, and attached paper suns on the tip of summer designed pencils.

After the craft session, attendees dined on chicken and pork shishkabobs with pineapples and bell peppers and for dessert watermelon and pineapple upsidedown cake was served.

During dinner 20 native Hawaiian dancers performed on stage to traditional music.
