FOXBORO - With Tom Brady's balky foot and Matt Cassel's shaky aim
and the generally makeshift nature of the offensive line right now,
there are plenty of issues confronting the New England Patriots.
So it might have slipped your mind that Asante Samuel's
homecoming is on Friday.
If so, join the club.
"Oh, yeah. I forgot about that," safety Rodney Harrison said
Wednesday as the Pats prepared to host their former franchise
cornerback's new team, the Philadelphia Eagles, on Friday. "I talked
to him the other day. He's doing great."
Then Harrison added with a laugh, "Wouldn't you (be if you were)
$60 million richer?"
Staying on that theme, cornerback Ellis Hobbs was asked if it
would be strange ...
