It Was to be an embrace that spoke a thousand words. Just moments
after helping Hull FC win the Challenge Cup final for the first time
in 23 years, Richard Horne made a beeline for his brother Graeme.
Excitement and pride bursting out of him, Richard wanted to share
the moment with his younger brother. They had hoped, almost
expected, to be playing alongside one another in the Cardiff final.
It was not meant to be that day. A one-club man and his brother's
biggest fan, the hug meant the world to Graeme who, putting his huge
disappointment to one side, stood and watched as Hull FC, his team,
lifted the Challenge Cup.
