Planned Parenthood's Dubuque facility has had visitors and
protesters during its first two days in operation."We did have some
people come in yesterday and today, welcoming us to the community,"
Jenifer Vick, director of development and communications for Planned
Parenthood of East Central Iowa, said on Friday.Planned Parenthood
opened a center Thursday at 1766 Central Ave.Opponents of the
organization marked the opening by demonstrating on the sidewalk in
front of the center."There has been no obstruction by the
protesters," Vick said. "We do not anticipate any problems."Steven
Brody, executive director of Dubuque County Right to Life, said
people used to seeing antagonism among picketers ...
