It was with disgust that I read in the Aug. 21 Post that Random
House, for all intents and purposes, canceled the publication of
Sherry Jones's "The Jewel of Medina."
In America we have what is known as a free press, and to not
publish a book because it might be offensive to some Muslims, and
"could incite acts of violence by a small, radical segment" is
nothing less than cowardice.
