Customers want it. Competitors offer it.
So Willow Valley Resort & Conference Center will provide it too.
Willow Valley next month will start serving - but not selling -
alcoholic beverages to groups such as wedding receptions, banquets
and meetings.
It will be the first time in the property's 42-year history that
alcoholic beverages are served.
"We've had an increasing number of requests for this," explained
Sheryl Holzbauer, an executive with the property's owner and
operator, Willow Valley Associates.
Holzbauer said today that more customers expect a resort and
conference center to offer the service.
Failing to offer it has cost the property business in the past,
she acknowledged.
