Olmert faces seventh police interrogation this week

JERUSALEM, Aug. 24 (Xinhua) -- Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will face the seventh round of police questioning this week in the ongoing corruption probes that have brought about his political downfall, local daily Jerusalem Post reported Sunday on its website.

The police are expected to recommend pressing charges against Olmert next month, and Attorney-General Menahem Mazuz will then make a final decision on the case, according to Jerusalem Post.
