BLOOMINGTON - Debbie Nelson, a former social service program
director, is a woman with a simple but profound message:
"Don't wait until the end of your life to live your bucket
list.'"
Nelson, 50, of Bloomington, understands the significance of her
message. In her ninth year of battling cancer, she is preparing for
a stem cell transplant from an unrelated donor.
She is focusing on preparing herself for her second stem cell
transplant as well as sharing her message.
"Everybody's got these dreams," she observed. "Why do we wait
until it's almost too late to do something about them?"
While Nelson has been inspired by the book, "The Last Lecture,"
by Randy Pausch, and the movie, "The Bucket ...
