Backgrounder: U.S. Democratic National Convention
DENVER, United States, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. Democratic
National Convention in 2008 will kick off on Monday in Denver,
Colorado, where Illinois Senator Barack Obama and Delaware Senator
Joe Biden will accept nominations for the presidential candidate and
vice presidential candidate respectively.
