Cornwall tied their Dean Dyball Challenge Match with Somerset
after a dramatic final over of twenty20 at Boscawen Park yesterday.
Captain Tom Sharp lead the charge with an unbeaten 55 off 37
balls as his side brilliantly chased Somerset's total of 153 in the
final ball of the game.
The match-levelling shot came from Newquay captain Rob Harrison
with belting six off the bowling of Mark Turner.
After losing the toss, the Cornishmen made the perfect start when
Antony Angove took the first Somerset wicket with his first delivery
in the second over knocking out Wes Durston's off stump for just one
run.
