Article: East Bank, DuPont lose bragging rights

Thousands crammed the area between the riverbank and the railroad tracks in East Bank Friday night for the Upper Kanawha Valley's biggest spectacle in years - the final East Bank-DuPont football game.

They came in generations - grandparents, parents and children - and from mixed families - those who have family members who have graduated from both high schools.

And while fans at neither school have been known to take a loss lightly, all seemed to agree that no matter who won on the field, they would all be one at the end of the school year.
