Britain has some of the widest variety of accents in the world.
From Glaswegian to Geordie, or from Mancunian to Cockney, each area
has its own unique sound.
Here in the west country, our distinctive burr - famously
displayed by the Shed at Gloucester Rugby in their "Glawwwsterr"
chant - is known all over the world. What do you think of the west
country accent? Are you fed up of being dismissed as farmers by the
rest of the country? Or are you proud of the distinctive tone of the
local voices? What accents do you like the most - and which can't
you stand?
