Asurvey this week highlights the problems people have making the
most of their cash, and the Financial Services Authority (FSA) has
flooded Post Office branches with 190,000 copies of a 16-page booklet
urging people to shop around for money advice.
The survey by The Marketplace, the advisory offshoot of Bradford &
Bingley, the former building society, shows consumers are losing more
than pounds 1.2bn a year by not shopping around for the best personal
loan. The MarketPlace is launching an online personal loan service,
at www.marketplace.co.uk, which searches out the best deals.
