COLUMBIA, S.C., Sept. 4 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The federal
Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has awarded a four-
year contract to Columbia, S.C.-based Companion Data Services, LLC
(CDS) for data center operations that support Medicare claims
processing in four states, CDS officials announced today.
Under terms of the contract, CDS's Medicare Enterprise Data
Center in Columbia will be responsible for electronic data
processing and hosting operations to accommodate an estimated 140
million Medicare claims per year submitted by health care providers
in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and ...
