A tv dragon has been caught up in a battle with campaigners over
a green field in Brixham.
Residents are rushing to 'protect' a Brixham field from a housing
development but have discovered that as recently as July this year
the land was owned by Mudstone LLP of which one of Britain's most-
feared businesswomen - Deborah Meaden of TV's Dragon's Den - is a
designated member, in effect a partner.
Mudstone LLP is the registered landowner of Wishings Field with
Deborah Meadon and stepfather Brian being identified as designated
members of the company by Company's House.
It is understood Mudstone LLP is poised to sell to Millwood Homes
(Devon) Ltd of Newton Abbot.
