While league titles will not be won in the first weeks of the
season, leagues can easily be lost if clubs are seemingly not at the
races.
Having recorded a maximum haul from their opening day endeavours
at Esher last Saturday, Exeter Chiefs kick-off their home campaign
tomorrow (3pm) with the visit of much-fancied Leeds Carnegie to
Sandy Park.
The former Guinness Premiership club have been instilled by some
observers as favourites for a quick return to English top rugby.
However, hot on their heels are the Chiefs, who signalled their
intent with a summer of serious squad strengthening.
Now, as the two prepare to pack down this weekend, Chiefs
