WEST BRIDGEWATER - The operators of the Shaw's Supermarkets and
Star Market chains are hoping harried shoppers aim for the Culinary
Circle.
Supervalu Inc., the parent company of West Bridgewater-based
Shaw's and Star Market, has been rolling out the new private label
brand in its stores during the past month, with an online marketing
push planned for next week.
The Culinary Circle lineup features more than 150 premium items
in the deli, frozen food, bakery and center store aisles. Many of
the items involve on-the-go meal options, such as pork casserole and
rotisserie chicken. The list also includes gourmet spreads, high-
end desserts and artisan breads.
